Authentic antique Hopkins general store paper cutter featuring a cast iron frame, original wood top, and original spring-loaded paper hold-down bar. The blade is marked “Made in U.S.A. – Hopkins Pat.”

These countertop paper cutters were once found in country stores, hardware stores, butcher shops, and dry goods stores where they were used to cut wrapping paper for customers’ purchases. Today they make outstanding display pieces for farmhouse, primitive, industrial, or mercantile décor.
